Embrace is a exhibition that explores the many ways we experience and represent the body- its presence, its struggles, its aging, and its relationship to society and others. Going beyond gender and sexuality, Embrace reflects on the body as a political and social space, a site of memory, connection and resistance.

Bringing together poetry, photography, video, installation, performance and digital culture, the project creates a dialogue between contemporary artists from Europe, Africa, and the Americas. It centers the body in motion across space and time, inviting us to reflect on how we live and move together.

At the heart of Embrace is the desire to make visible those who are often overlooked in the art sphere: women over 50, mothers, children, and people from racially, ethnically, and gender-diverse backgrounds. The project challenges traditional hierarchies of representation, aiming to dismantle stereotypes and bring forward voices that are too often silenced.

By creating space for shared experiences and new narratives, Embrace reimagines how we see the body, not as a fixed identity, but as a living, changing force that connects us across time. It’s an invitation to feel, to question, and to embrace difference as a source of power and possibility.
